We sponsor a small series for those looking for individual classes. No audition is required.


Current Evening Class Offerings

Scene Study Focusing on contemporary American plays, the class explores the actor's approach to a scene by introducing given circumstances, actions and objectives, places and sensory tasks. Instructor ALAN LANGDON appeared Off-Broadway in The Fantasticks and Intimate Relations. Having taught at many universities and heading the Professional Acting Program at the University of Oklahoma, he also has directed at the Virginia Shakespeare Festival, the British-American Restoration Arts Theatre in England and was Director of Apprentice Workshops at Williamstown Theatre Festival.

This class currently meets on Monday evenings from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Linklater Voice Technique This class teaches the progression of vocal exercises developed by Kristin Linklater. The class seeks to expand the actor's expressive range by working on breathing, developing resonance, and freeing specific tension points. ANDREA HARING is a professional vocal coach who is the official teaching supervisor for Linklater technique in New York. A founding member of Shakespeare & Company, Ms. Haring has performed extensively as an actress in New York and regionally. She is also a director.
