* OLIVIA BASEMAN continues to host at The Basement Salon on the small stage at Jimmy's No. 43 in NYC. "A place for artists and performers to come together and share work in progress," it meets the last Tuesday of every month. If you are interested in presenting, you can contact her at thebasementsalon@yahoo.com.

* JEFF BERG played the titular role in the New York International Fringe Festival production of I WAS TOM CRUISE. Jeff can also be seen as Luke in the beloved SLINGS AND ARROWS, finally available on DVD.

* JOHN BOLGER returned to GENERAL HOSPITAL and Port Charles for a limited time as Mayor Floyd.

* Winner of the Vancouver Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actor for his work in POOR BOY'S GAME with Danny Glover, GREG BRYK also starred as Peter Fonda's son in the mini-series THE GATHERING. He is currently shooting the horror film SCREAMERS 2 in Newfoundland.

* KEVIN CAHOON, who delighted as the Child Catcher in CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, originated the role of George in the new Broadway musical THE WEDDING SINGER. Kevin's band, Ghetto Cowboy, has released their latest CD, DOLL, available now in stores.

* MATT CAMPBELL was in the Goodspeed Opera House production of Gilbert and Sullivan's THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE. The show performs October 6 - December 10.

* Everybody's favorite "24" gal, SARAH CLARKE, played Christine Chambers in the series finale of "Commander in Chief". Sarah can also be seen in her latest film, THE LATHER EFFECT, which premiered recently at the LA Film Festival.

* 2007 Graduate LINDSAY DEVINO was just cast in the National Tour of THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL. Congratulations Lindsay!

* JAMES DICKSON was the standby for the role of "The Fonz" in the new musical, HAPPY DAYS, based on the popular television show. The show was written and directed by series creator, Garry Marshall, with music and lyrics by Paul Williams.

* KEN FANTRY, who just graduated from Circle in spring 2007, was just cast in TheatreWorksUSA's touring production of HENRY AND MUDGE.

* MICHAEL ELLISON was seen in a sweeps week episode of LAW AND ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT. The episode was ripped from the headlines about the death of Anna Nicole Smith. Michael plays a character based on Anna Nicole's son, Daniel, opposite Kristy Swanson.

* JENNIFER GAMBATESE, formerly of Broadway's ALL SHOOK UP, recently starred as Jane in the Broadway production of Disney's TARZAN. Enjoy an interview with the popular "diva" by clicking here.

* ITZIK GIULI was Artistic Consultant and Dramturge for Yasmeen Godder's dance theatre piece "Strawberry Cream and Gun Powder" presented with The Bloody Bench Players at the Lincoln Center Festival this summer. More details available at www.lincolncenter.org or www.yasmeengodder.com.

* OLIVIA GOODE has just finished the national tour of THE PRODUCERS. She is currently employed by Bally's Jubilee in Las Vegas.

* AMANDA GREEN is keeping busy with appearances at Birdland in October and provided lyrics for the Broadway musical, HIGH FIDELITY, based on the Nick Hornby novel and Touchstone Pictures film.

* ALLISON GUINN was in the top selling show of the 2007 New York Fringe Festival, WILLIAMSBURG: THE MUSICAL. Also, she was recently cast in TheatreWorksUSA's touring production of CHARLOTTE'S WEB.

* JONATHAN WALKER HARE is currently in FLANAGAN'S WAKE at the Soho Playhouse. For information, please Click Here.

* JENNIFER HECHT was recently in the new Richard Greenberg play, THE HOUSE IN TOWN, at Lincoln Center Theater. The production was directed by Doug Hughes.

* 2006 New York Innovative Theatre Award Nominations were announced and both ANDAYE HILL and SUMMER MOORE were nominated in the Best Featured Actress category. The IT Awards Ceremony took place on Monday, September 18th 2006. And we are happy to announce that Summer Moore received the award! Congratulations to both of these lovely actresses.

* Academy Award Winner for Best Actor, PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN, also won the BAFTA and Golden Globe for Best Actor (Drama) for his performance as Truman Capote in CAPOTE. Recent appearances include being seen escorting Terry Hayden into a cab in Greenwich Village.

* Emmy nominee, WINNIE HOLZMAN can be heard on the IFC's original series, HOPELESS PICTURES. Her Tony nominated libretto for WICKED is enjoyed nearly every night by thousands all over the country.

* Emmy winner for DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, FELICITY HUFFMAN garnered rave reviews,
received an Academy Award Nomination and nabbed a Golden Globe as Best Actress (Drama) for her portrayal of Sabrina "Bree" Osbourne in TRANSAMERICA.

* TIM INTRAVIA, class of 2005, is a swing in TONY N' TINA'S WEDDING. Tim was recently featured in a Backstage article about how he landed his role.

* Recent 2007 Grad MERRITT DAVID JANES has just signed for the lead in THE WEDDING SINGER national tour. Congratulations David!

* Always busy TRISHA JEFFREY is about to begin her third Broadway show in three years, RENT which is currently starring orginal stars Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal. Trisha will be covering several roles but has been primarily rehearsing Mimi. Check out Trisha's new fan page by following the link under her name in the Notable Alumni Listings below.

* DENIS JONES, a continual presence on Broadway, is back in CHICAGO at the Ambassador Theatre. Denis also recently was choreographer for the Actor's Benefit productions of ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY and IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, as well as working as Associate Choreographer on DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS.

* Emmy Nominee and Obie winner, JUSTIN KIRK, stars in the new independant film FLANNEL PAJAMAS. Justin also returns for a second season as Andy Botwin on the series, WEEDS, airing on Showtime starting in August. The first season is already available on DVD.

* CANDACE LARICCI, class of 2007, has just been cast in the TheatreWorks USA National Tour of CHARLOTTE'S WEB. Candace will be playing the role of Charlotte and receive her Equity card!

* The magnificent KECIA LEWIS-EVANS returns to Broadway this season as Trix in the Tony winning THE DROWSY CHAPERONE.

* MATTHEW LILLARD and GEORGE GRIFFITH are featured in "FROM THE HEAD", a web series produced by Circle alum JEFFREY DOORNBOS and GEORGE GRIFFITH's production company "Alpha Rat Productions".

* Broadway veteran, LUBA MASON, dazzled as Velma Kelly on Broadway in CHICAGO once again. Her album, "Collage" is available through P.S. Classics.

* KATHERINE McCLAIN, is currently appearing in Musicals Tonight's production of "Irene". Recently she was in their production of "Ernest in Love" as well.

* The lovely LIZ MCKENDRY was recently a swing in the multiple Tony-winning Broadway company of THE PRODUCERS.

* IDINA MENZEL is starring in a new Disney movie musical, entitled ENCHANTED, scheduled for release in July 2007. Next, she brings her Tony-winning performance as Elphaba to the upcoming London production of WICKED.

* ERIC WILLIAM MORRIS made his Broadway debut in CORAM BOY. He can also be seen in the national commercial for Valtrex and was in the 2007 New York Musical Theatre Festival production of ROLLER DERBY THE MUSICAL. http://www.coramboyonbroadway.com

* DAVID ORDINAS has returned to Spain to play the title role in BEAUTY IN THE BEAST in Madrid, which is the Spanish equivalent of Broadway. To view pictures of David as the Beast, IMMINENT, INDEED.

* THOMAS SADOSKI starred in the Off-Broadway production of ALL THIS INTIMACY by Rajiv Joseph. This is Thomas' fourth production with Second Stage Theatre. You can read an interview with Thomas about his work with Second Stage by clicking here.

* Always up to something, JEREMY SHAMOS delighted again in the recent stage production of Ernst Lubitsch's classic film, TROUBLE IN PARADISE.

* ADAM SHATARSKY recently wrapped the SAG Indie Film, "The Invisible Man," filmed in the subways of Washington D.C.

* 2007 graduate and ANNA STEPHENS is currently in the European Tour of WEST SIDE STORY. Anna is playing Anybodys

* JUSTIN TENSEN, class of 2004 recently landed the lead role in an independant film called BETWEEN LOVE AND GOODBYE. After filming, he is off to Virginia for THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST.

* "ER" star, MAURA TIERNEY, starred in the MCC production of Neil LaBute's SOME GIRL(S) at the Lucille Lortel

* Recent graduate, STEVE TRZASKA, joined the acting company for the entire 2006-2007 season at The Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis. Known as one of the premiere children's theatre companies, CTC was awarded a Special Tony Award in 2003 for it's continued excellence.

* Recent graduate, MICHAEL WARTELLA, recently finished a production of OLIVER TWIST at the American Repertory Theatre and SEUSSICAL for TheatreWorks USA.

* KATE WETHERHEAD is currently on Broadway in LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL at Broadway's Palace Theatre. Kate joins the new show directly from the Tony Award winningTHE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE at Circle in the Square Theatre.

* Recent graduate, CHRISTIAN WHITE, recently played Seaweed J. Stubbs in the national tour of HAIRSPRAY.

* NANCI ZOPPI, class of 2004, is currently in the National Tour of two children's shows, THE ADVENTURES OF FLAT STANLEY and FRANKLEY BEN. Congratulations Nanci!

* MARCO ZUNINO played the title role in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR in Lima, Peru. This is Lima's first professional production of the rock opera.
