Two-Year Professional Acting Workshop
During the second year of your training, you will have opportunities to perform in a scene night to which agents, casting directors, producers, directors are invited, and full productions which are open to the general public. Below is a breakdown of classes, along with number of clock hours per week.
The Circle in the Square Theatre School is a clock-hour based program of study. As defined by the U.S. Department of Education for Title IV purposes, one clock hour contains at least 50 minutes of instruction in a 60 minute period of time.
Instruction may include class, lecture, recitation, faculty supervised labs, shop training, internships and correspondence preparation. A clock hour, therefore, is based on an actual hour of attendance. This is the standard employed by the Circle in the Square Theatre School in assigning clock hours to a course.
NOTE: Housing is not provided. Circle does not accept transfer credits to meet the completion requirements of the program.
